How to view email campaign statistics

Since May 18, 2021, Snov.io has changed the algorithm for statistics calculation. The statistics are now calculated according to the industry standard.

All the campaign statistics are conveniently collected on one page. Go to the Email Drip Campaigns tab and click on the name of the launched campaign to view the statistics:

You will be taken to a page with statistics for the campaign overall and for each individual email sent within the campaign.

You will see:

  1. Sent emails: the total number of the emails sent in this campaign.
  2. Open rate: the percentage of recipients who have opened an email at least once.
  3. Click rate: the percentage of recipients who have clicked a link in an email at least once.
  4. Reply rate: the percentage of recipients who have replied to an email at least once.

On the right side of the statistics page you can see:

  • Total recipients: the overall number of recipients in this drip campaign.
  • Unsubscribed: the percentage of recipients who have unsubscribed. 
  • Not reached: the percentage of recipients that resulted in a bounce or an autoreply.

If you have more than one email in your email campaign sequence, you can check the statistics (with the percentage equivalents) for the actions performed for each specific email in the sequence.

Here are the available statistics for each email in the sequence:

  • Sent: the number of recipients who have received the email.
  • Opens: the number of recipients who have opened an email at least once. 
  • Clicks: the number of recipients who have followed the link in the email at least once.
  • Replies: the number of recipients who have replied to the email at least once.

Please note that a hyphen (-) indicates that open tracking or link tracking is disabled for this campaign.

If you want to see the data on each of the campaign recipients, navigate to the Recipients tab. There you will see the following information:

Sent: shows how many messages were sent to this particular recipient.
Views: shows how many times your email was opened by this particular recipient (if you’ve sent one email) or the total number of opens for this campaign.
Clicks: shows how many times this recipient followed the links in your emails.
Replies: shows the number of replies received from the recipient.

If you want to know exactly which of your recipients have opened your email, clicked the link, or replied, click on the number of the emails in the required action statistic as shown below, and you will be redirected to the recipients tab according to the chosen filter.

You can also use another filter option directly in the Recipients tab.

Here is an example of how to check which of your recipients have replied to your email, followed the link in it or received at least one email:

You can also sort campaign recipients by status:

Active: Campaign is still running for this recipient.

Paused: Sending for this recipient is stopped. To relaunch the sequence for this recipient, change their status to Active.

Finished: The system sets this status automatically when a campaign is completed for a recipient. It cannot be set or changed manually, this status is terminal.

Unsubscribed: System sets this status when a recipient unsubscribes from the campaign.

Moved: System sets this status if you moved the recipient from one list to another one. For recipients with Moved status the sequence stops and can’t be changed into Active status.

Over Limit: System sets this status automatically if you have exceeded the email sending limits. To relaunch the sequence for such recipients, make sure your limits have been reset and change their status to Active.

Bounced: The system sets this status automatically if the message wasn’t delivered to the recipient and a bounce was detected. For the recipients with Bounced status the sequence stops.

Auto-replied: The system sets this status automatically if we detect an auto-reply message from the recipient. For recipients with Auto-replied status the sequence stops.

Deleted: The system sets this status automatically if you remove the prospect from the campaign’s prospect list. For the recipients with Deleted status the sequence stops.

No-send: The system sets this status if the recipient’s email address has been added to the account’s Do-not-email List. This status is terminal. You can change it into Active status only by removing the recipient’s email address from the Do-not-email List.

Locked: The system sets this status if the email campaign has launched for the prospect but the recipient has deleted their data from Snov.io and therefore can not be contacted through the platform anymore. It can’t be set manually, this status is terminal.

If the prospect replied to your email campaign, they will receive the status Replied or Replied from another email. If you have checked the Stop after a reply option for the campaign, the sequence will automatically stop for such recipients. You can continue sending the campaign to recipients who have replied by changing their status to Active.
