If you need to save a Web page as an HTML file, just choose the Operating System you use and follow the next steps.
First of all, open the webpage with the error.
As an example I have chosen the LinkedIn search page.
We want to save the entire website, with all the associated pages, so press “Ctrl+ S” or right-click on an empty space on the web page and choose “Save as” or “Save Page As”.
In the pop-up window you can rename your file, just make sure not to delete the “.html” at the end of the file name. By default, the file will be named the same as the title of the page.
Select a location on your drive where you would like to save the webpage.
If you are using Windows OS, you will have the options of saving “Webpage, Complete” or “Webpage, HTML Only” in the “Save as type” field. We suggest you choose “Webpage, Complete” for the fullest understanding of your issue.
Click “Save” to complete the saving process.
Step 1. Go to the webpage with the issue.
Step 2. Press “Cmd+S” or navigate to File menu and select “Save As”.
Step 3. In the “Save As” text field, you can choose your own file name or use the suggested one.
Step 4. In the pop-up menu, choose the location where you would like to save the file.
Step 5. Click “Format” in the pop-up menu and select the necessary format for the saved page. We recommend you choose “Web Archive”/ “HTML only”, as it saves the entire page and can be displayed just as you see it.
Step 6. Click “Save” to begin the download process.
