You can think of it as a countdown timer to determine how long it will be until your next follow-up email.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>To set a delay:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"shadow aligncenter wp-image-18712 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/snov.io\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/ente.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"406\" srcset=\"https:\/\/snov.io\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/ente.png 900w, https:\/\/snov.io\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/ente-300x135.png 300w, https:\/\/snov.io\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/ente-768x346.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter the number into the input field and choose a unit of time:<b>\u00a0hours, days or minutes.\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Minimum <\/b>waiting time value is 1for every unit of time and should be a whole-number.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong>\u00a0 If you want to stop the campaign for a prospect after getting a response, we suggest setting a delay for at least 30 minutes to make sure the reply is tracked.<\/p>\n<p><b>Maximum <\/b>waiting time value is 30 days or 720 hours.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Another Delay element can be added to stack their waiting time values if you need a bigger pause before the follow-up.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>How delay works<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each recipient's delay timer is calculated separately and starts when the email preceding a delay is sent to the recipient.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>When the waiting time you set is over, the email succeeding a delay in the sequence will be sent.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Campaign schedule has higher priority than delay.
