For example, if you suddenly send 100 emails after a long period of inactivity, that can look like spammer behavior.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h2><strong>What factors help avoid spam filters<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><b>Here\u2019s what<\/b> <b>matters the most<\/b> <b>for sender reputation:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> technical setup, domain health, warm-up, sending limits, email content, replies and bounce rate.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"base-requirements\"><b>Base requirements (don\u2019t skip)<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These are the basic requirements for every sender. If you don\u2019t follow them, your emails have a much higher chance of landing in spam.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Sender infrastructure<\/h3>\n<p><b>Domains &amp; mailboxes<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Free mailboxes on @gmail won\u2019t work for outreach. Also an optimal limit for Outlook \/ Microsoft senders<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-checked=\"false\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>15 emails\/day:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> optimal start limit for existing Gmail senders.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-checked=\"false\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>30 new emails\/day:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for warmed-up accounts. Use this limit only if your reply rate is already 5% or higher.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-checked=\"false\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>50 emails\/day:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Risky limit even for accounts with good reputation. Don\u2019t use it regularly, only as a temporary increase.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-checked=\"false\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>100 emails\/day:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This is a spammers limit. We don\u2019t recommend using it.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Email Warm-up<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Warming up your email accounts is one of the best things you can do to avoid spam filters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add your email accounts <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/app.snov.io\/deliverability\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to Email Warm-up<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It increases your sending volume gradually and builds reputation through positive signals like automatic opens and replies.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"notification-block tip\">\n<div class=\"notification-block__icon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/snov.io\/knowledgebase\/wp-content\/themes\/knowledgebase-n\/assets\/img\/academicons_ideas-repec.svg\" alt=\"tip\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\" \/><\/div>\n<div class=\"notification-block__text\">Warm up every sender account before using it for a campaign. Both new and existing email accounts should be warmed up.
