Before you start. <\/strong>The APIs available to you and the rate limits depend on your plan:<\/p>\n

1) A Sales Suite plan.<\/strong> The APIs are fully available on all Sales Suite plans<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2) LinkedIn Automation.<\/strong> To use APIs that involve the LinkedIn channel, also enable LinkedIn Automation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

3) Test access on a free plan.<\/strong> If you are on a free plan, you can request test access by emailing us at help@snov.io<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Snov.io tools are available through a REST API<\/a>. You can find prospects, enrich their data, verify emails, run outreach campaigns, and get analytics, all through the API.<\/p>\n

To start, you need your API credentials<\/strong> to authenticate your requests.<\/p>\n

Where to find API credentials<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Open Account settings<\/a> and select the API<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n

You get two values here: API User ID<\/strong> (used as the client_id<\/span>) and API Secret<\/strong> (used as the client_secret<\/span>).<\/p>\n

The Regenerate keys<\/strong> option creates a new unique pair for your account. The old keys stop working, so update them in every integration that uses them.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

How API authentication works<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Your credentials tie API requests to your account.<\/p>\n

The Snov.io API has no open endpoints, so every request must be authenticated. This way, the API knows whose data and credits it works with.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

You use your credentials to generate an API access token<\/strong>, which authorizes every request you send.<\/p>\n

Request a token<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Send your client_id<\/span> and client_secret<\/span> to the following endpoint using the Authentication method<\/a>, and get back an access token:<\/p>\n

Use the token<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Include the token in the Authorization<\/strong> field of every API request:<\/p>\n

Authorization: Bearer YOUR_ACCESS_TOKEN<\/span><\/p>\n

Refresh the token<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The token lasts 1 hour (3600 seconds) as a security measure. When it expires, your integration needs to request a new one.<\/p>\n
