In this article, you’ll learn how to upgrade, renew, or cancel your subscriptions for pre-configured domains and mailboxes.

Below, you’ll find all the details about how billing works, including renewals, upgrades, and cancellation terms.
Pricing
DFY domains and mailboxes are subscription-based, with simple, transparent pricing.
Our prices are lower than the average market rate because we provide accounts in bulk.
Note that the price includes not just a barebones account, but a fully pre-configured setup.
The cost of your email setup includes two parts: mailbox pricing and domain pricing.
Mailboxes:
Each mailbox costs a fixed $4 per month. This price stays the same regardless of the domain you choose or the number of mailboxes you create.
Domains:
The yearly domain price depends on the chosen domain extension (TLD). Prices can range from $6 to over $200 per year.
- $6–7/year for country-based domains like .uk or .fr
- $14/year for .com or .org
- $16/year for .net
- $19/year for .app
- $25/year for .info
- $27/year for .cloud
- $33/year for .online
- $34/year for .co
- $52/year for .software
- $59/year for .io or .tech
- $216/year for .ai
Upgrade mailboxes
All pre-configured mailboxes are grouped under a single subscription. If you add new mailboxes mid-month, you’ll pay the full price upfront.
To adjust the total cost, we’ll apply a proration discount for those new accounts with the next renewal.
Example of upgrading:
You purchased 3 mailboxes on September 1. This started your subscription.
On September 10, you purchased 3 more mailboxes. At checkout, you paid the full price for these 3 new mailboxes to add them to your subscription.
At the next renewal on September 30, your subscription will renew for 6 mailboxes.
But since you already paid for the new mailboxes on September 10, we’ll apply a proration discount for the unused days (9 days).
Upgrade domains
Unlike mailboxes, domains are not grouped under one subscription — each domain is managed individually.
Every domain has its own subscription and renewal date. If you purchase additional domains, they will follow their own billing cycles.
You’ll see each domain listed as a separate subscription in your Billing section.
You can cancel any active domain or mailbox subscription manually from the Billing page.
Cancellation means accounts are removed from your account with no option to restore.
Important: If you cancel a domain, all mailboxes linked to it will be cancelled as well.
Billing and renewals
Both domain and mailbox renewals are billed automatically. The renewal price remains the same as the initial purchase price — there are no hidden fees or price increases after the first billing period.
Mailboxes are grouped under one subscription, billed every 30 days. If there’s an issue with your payment, you’ll have a 5-day grace period to resolve it before any disruption occurs.
Each domain has its own subscription, billed annually (every 365 days). The renewal charge is processed 10 days before the expiration date to allow backup time in case of payment issues.
Domains
If a domain renewal payment fails, the subscription isn’t canceled immediately.
We'll retry the payment up to 5 times over 10 days using your added payment method. During this time, you’ll also have the option to renew the domain manually in the Billing section.
When the domain reaches its final expiration date, the subscription is canceled. All mailboxes linked to that domain are also canceled and removed from your account. To continue using them, you’ll need to purchase the domain and mailboxes again.
Mailboxes
If your mailbox subscription renewal fails, the accounts won’t be canceled right away.
Snov.io will retry the payment 5 times over 5 days. If the renewal isn’t completed before the final expiration date, the subscription will be canceled and the accounts removed.
To keep using mailboxes, you’ll need to purchase them again.
Manage subscriptions
To keep your domains and mailboxes active, check your subscription status and renewal dates, and make sure your payment method is valid.
You can view and manage your subscriptions in the Billing section of your account.
From the billing settings, you also can:
- See active subscriptions and renewal dates
- Renew accounts manually if automatic renewal failed
- Cancel any active domain or mailbox
- Add more domains and mailboxes
Refunds
DFY domains and mailboxes are non-refundable. Before purchasing, check our setup guide to make sure everything fits your needs.
