What is the difference in billing between monthly and yearly plans?

Depending on the type of plan you choose when upgrading to premium, the payment process will be different.

Let’s break down how billing works for both monthly and annual plans.

Monthly plans

When you purchase a monthly plan, your payment covers one billing period, which lasts 30 days from the date of purchase.

By default, automatic renewal is enabled for monthly plans. Your plan will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (every 30 days). You can disable automatic renewal at any time in the billing settings. You’ll continue to have access to premium features until the end of the current billing period.

You can change your monthly plan (upgrade or downgrade) at any time.

Monthly plans include credit rollover — as long as your premium plan is active, any unused credits will stay in your balance. When your plan ends, your account reverts to the free version, and any remaining quotas (credits, recipients) expire.

Annual plans

When you purchase an annual plan, you pay for the entire year upfront. While the payment is made in a single transaction, you save 25% on all plan tiers compared to paying monthly over a 12-month period.

By default, automatic renewal is enabled for annual plans. Your plan will automatically renew every 12 months unless you cancel it. You can turn off automatic renewal at any time in your billing settings.

Every 30 days, your account receives a set number of credits or email recipients based on your chosen plan. You can track how many days remain until the next quota update by checking the Limit resets in timer in your billing settings.

Annual plans also include credit rollover, which applies within a single billing period (one year for annual plans).

Any unused credits from each month will roll over while your plan is active. Your account balance will only expire when your annual plan ends.

You can check the Expires on date in your billing settings.

Note: You cannot switch from one annual plan to another or to a monthly plan while your current annual plan is active. You must wait until the end of your current annual plan to make changes.

If you switch to a different plan during the billing period, your current annual plan will be canceled, and any unused credits and remaining months will be lost.
