How to change your current plan

You can upgrade or downgrade from your current plan to any other plan simply by purchasing it from the Plans page.

Choose the right plan for your requirements by comparing our pricing options. To learn more about our pricing plans, read this article.

Remember: Ensure you have selected the desired plan type (monthly or annual) before proceeding with the purchase. Read more about monthly vs annual billing.

Once your purchase is complete:

How upgrading works

An upgrade means switching from a lower tier plan to a higher one, e.g., from Starter to Pro 5K.

Upgrading your plan allows you to unlock additional features and increase credits/recipients quotas.

Before upgrading, find out what happens to your credits and recipients if you upgrade without changing your billing option or select another.

Upgrade from  Upgrade to How it works
Monthly Monthly Your new plan will include credits and recipients that were not used in the current billing period plus quotas issued according to a chosen new plan.
Monthly Annual Credits and recipients that were not used in the current billing period will be added to your new plan’s balance for one billing period (30 days).

At the end of each billing period, unused credits and recipients expire and new quotas are added according to a chosen plan.

Annual Annual

When you upgrade your annual plan (to a higher tier), the final total price will be prorated based on the number of months you’ve used in your current plan.

Important: If you purchase the same annual plan while your current annual plan is still active, no prorated discount will be applied for the unused months of the current plan.

The unused credits from the last month will be added to your new plan’s balance. In the following months of your annual plan, a new quota of credits/recipients will be added to your balance according to the chosen plan every 30 days. While the annual plan is active, any unused credits from the previous month will be added to your balance.

The accumulated credit balance will remain available for use until the end of the annual plan’s billing period (one year from the date of purchase).

Annual Monthly

Important: Wait until your current annual plan ends before switching to a monthly plan, even if it’s a higher tier.

If you purchase a monthly plan before the annual plan expires, your current annual plan will be canceled, and any unused account balance will expire.

How downgrading works

A downgrade means switching from a higher tier plan to a lower one, e.g., from Pro 5K to Starter.

Downgrading your plan lets you switch to a cheaper option while keeping your subscription active. Depending on the plan you select, you may lose access to some features.

Before downgrading, find out what happens to your credits and recipients if you downgrade without changing your billing option or select another.

Downgrade from   Downgrade to How it works
Monthly Monthly Your quota of credits will include credits gained with a new plan plus unused credits from previous billing periods.

Your quota of recipients will include recipients gained with a new plan. Unused recipients from a previous billing period will expire.

Monthly Annual Any unused credits and recipients from your current monthly plan will be added to the balance of your new annual plan. These will remain available for use until the end of the annual plan’s billing period (one year from the date of purchase).

At the end of each billing period, unused credits and recipients expire and new quotas are added according to a chosen new plan.

Annual Annual When you downgrade your annual plan to a lower tier, no prorated discount for the unused months will be applied. Your current annual plan will be canceled, and any unused credits will expire.

Recommended: Wait until the end of your current annual plan before changing it to another annual plan of a lower tier.

Annual Monthly Remember: Wait until the end of your current annual plan before changing it to monthly plan.

When you switch from annual to monthly billing mid-term (or any other time), your current annual plan is canceled and any unused credits and months are lost.

FAQs

1. What happens to my prospects and campaigns when I downgrade my plan?

If you downgrade to a lower-tier plan, you’ll keep access to your lists and campaigns, but certain features included in your previous plan may no longer be available.

If you downgrade to a free Trial plan, the premium features will be locked at the end of the paid period. This includes exporting prospect lists and reports, bulk email-finding options, and advanced campaign settings like mailbox rotation and campaign limits.

2. Can I change my payment method when I upgrade?

Yes, you can update your payment details at the order checkout when upgrading or downgrading your plan.

3. Should I wait till the end the billing period to change my plan?

If you’re on a monthly plan, you can upgrade or downgrade to another monthly plan at any time.

If you’re on an annual plan, you can upgrade at any time and receive a prorated discount for the new annual plan. However, downgrading to a different annual plan will cancel your current plan.

4. I already paid for my current plan. How will I be charged for the upgrade?

We do not offer prorated payments for monthly plan upgrades, but any unused credits will carry over to the new billing period.

For annual plan upgrades, the total price is adjusted with a discount based on the unused time and credits from your current plan.
