How to use LinkedIn Rotation in your campaign

This article explains LinkedIn rotation and how to increase your daily actions without getting blocked.

LinkedIn sets daily limits to ensure users don’t engage in spammy behavior or overwhelm others with excessive outreach. To comply with LinkedIn policies, you should avoid growing outreach using just one LinkedIn account

The only way to stay within LinkedIn limits safely is to increase senders. With LinkedIn Rotation, you can add multiple LinkedIn accounts to one campaign and combine their action limits.

Why you should use LinkedIn Rotation

  • Scale your outreach while staying within LinkedIn's limits
  • Distribute actions across several accounts to reduce the risk of restrictions or bans from LinkedIn
  • Automatically share leads with team members in the same campaign

This feature allows you to significantly expand your outreach, making the daily limit much less of a concern.

Who can use LinkedIn Rotation? This feature is available for all users with active premium plans who purchased LinkedIn Automation slots. Each slot costs $69 per month. There are no limitations on the number of slots in your Snov.io account. To add more slots, go to LinkedIn accounts page.

How LinkedIn Rotation works

The system automatically rotates your accounts for each action in the sequence. This ensures no account exceeds LinkedIn’s daily action limits.

For example, if you have five LinkedIn accounts, the system will send connection requests from Account 1, then Account 2, and so on, until it has cycled through all the accounts.

tip

Once automation is done for a recipient with a specific LinkedIn sender, all subsequent actions will be handled by the same sender.

With rotation, your sequence doesn’t get interrupted. If one account faces issues or gets temporarily restricted, the other accounts added to the campaign continue working.

How to set up multiple LinkedIn senders on one campaign

To set up rotation, follow these steps:

First, make sure you have LinkedIn accounts connected to Snov.io. You can select up to five LinkedIn accounts to create rotation within a campaign.

Step 1: Create or edit a campaign

When your LinkedIn accounts are ready, create a new campaign or edit an existing one, skipping to step 3 – Sending options.

Step 2. Check your daily limits and Social Selling Index (SSI)

Since LinkedIn doesn’t publicly share specific daily limits, we use your current SSI score to recommend safe limits.

The Social Selling Index (SSI) is indirectly connected to daily limits on LinkedIn because it reflects your overall engagement and activity levels on the platform.

Snov.io automatically detects and updates your SSI as it grows, allowing you to monitor it directly in your Snov.io account settings and adjust your daily limits accordingly.

Step 3: Choose LinkedIn accounts

Click Choose LinkedIn accounts in the Sending options section at the top of the page.

In the pop-up window, you’ll see a list of all the LinkedIn accounts you’ve linked with Snov.io. Pick the LinkedIn accounts you’d like to use as the senders for this campaign. Click Save to apply your choices.

Your added LinkedIn accounts will look like this:

To delete an account from the campaign, click the ‘x icon next to the account you want to remove.

To edit an account, click the pencil icon next to the account you want to change.

Note that you can't edit a deleted account or remove an active account already interacting with recipients in your campaign. This helps to keep your campaigns running smoothly.

Safety tip: enable LinkedIn account warm-up. Connection requests on LinkedIn drive conversions and growth, but a steep rise in account activity can lead to restrictions. Warm-up mode helps you safely and gradually increase the number of leads you connect with. The default settings are already optimized for you, but you can adjust them as needed before activation.

Step 4: Track metrics across accounts

Once the campaign is launched, you can track the overall performance for all accounts involved in the Statistics tab:

Or you can check how specific accounts are performing in the rotation:

Check your LinkedIn statistics on the Reports dashboard.

A bonus feature to handle deleted accounts

If an account becomes inactive during a campaign, the system will automatically pause or stop tasks for that account. To prevent interruptions, keep all accounts connected and active.

By clicking Recipients, you can filter those who engaged with deleted sender accounts. You can either create separate campaigns for them or restore your LinkedIn sender account to reactivate the campaign manually.

If you reconnect a removed account, it will automatically be reassigned to its previous recipients, and you only need to update the status from “Paused” to “Active.”

If you see that the account was disconnected, always reconnect it so your campaigns keep running as smoothly as possible.

Troubleshooting

Why may a LinkedIn account get disconnected from Snov.io?

Note that an account can’t participate in the rotation if disconnected. This may happen for the following reasons:

  • Password update: if you change your LinkedIn password, Snov.io may lose access to your account until the new password is updated in the integration settings. To prevent this, update your LinkedIn login details in Snov.io after changing your password.
  • Violation of LinkedIn's terms: if your actions on LinkedIn (like sending too many connection requests, messages and numerous searches) violate LinkedIn's guidelines and your account shows rapid or excessive activity, it could be flagged or restricted.
  • Security concerns: if Snov.io detects suspicious activity or security threats related to your LinkedIn account, it may be removed for safety reasons.
