Investor signals and sentiment are mixed, but the market is clearly busy. Airwallex’s president said it is still “not the best time” for an IPO even after the company’s latest raise, which suggests private-market funding is still preferred over public listings for now. At the same time, Jeff Wang’s launch size and visibility point to continued demand for new hedge fund platforms and for experienced investors with Sequoia pedigree.
