Our commitment to compliance with the GDPR

Snovio is committed to complying with the requirements and principles of the GDPR and to protecting the privacy of everyone whose personal data we process.

We maintain high standards of data protection across all our services offered on Snovio Platform and continuously monitor guidance on GDPR compliance issued by data protection authorities and update our services and related documentation accordingly.

Protecting personal data is a top priority for us. You can learn more about our security practices on our Security Center page.

1. Snovio’s roles under the GDPR

Depending on the specific situation, our company may act as a data controller, a joint controller or a data processor.

Snovio maintains a Privacy Policy that describes how we process personal data on our website and Platform when acting as a data controller, a joint controller, or a data processor.

As a data controller, we determine the purposes and means of processing personal data. We can be a data controller, for example, when we collect personal data directly from clients, such as for account registration or processing payments.

Also, we can act as a joint controller together with our clients when we jointly process personal data of prospects. For this purpose, Snovio has developed a Joint Controllership Agreement, signed with our clients, that governs all processing activities on our Platform when we act as a joint controller.

As a data processor, we process personal data under our clients’ instructions when providing certain services, such as CRM and email verification. For this purpose, Snovio has developed a Data Processing Addendum, signed with our clients, that governs all processing activities on our Platform when we act as a data processor.

For more detailed information about our roles in data processing, please check our Privacy Policy.

2. What data we collect

Snovio collects personal and business-related data depending on the nature of data processing activities and services provided. This includes client and website visitor data, prospect data, and business data which relate to clients, website visitors, prospects, and related persons respectively. Each of these categories may include specific subcategories of information, which are detailed in our Privacy Policy.

3. How we process your data

We process your data for a variety of purposes depending on our role and your interactions with our Platform. We process personal data for the following purposes:

providing our clients with requested services (registration of account, marketing activities, communication, payment processing, etc.);
processing personal data of website visitors for communication, analytics, marketing, and fraud prevention purposes;
processing third-party personal data (prospects, related persons) to provide services for our clients.

We regularly update information about our data processing activities to ensure it remains accurate and up to date. For a detailed overview, please check our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

4. Your rights under the GDPR

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right of access: you may request a copy of your personal data along with information about how it is processed and disclosed.
Right to rectification: you may ask us to correct or update any inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated personal data.

Right to data portability: you may request that we transfer your personal data to another company or directly to you.
Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
Right to lodge a complaint: you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe your personal data is being processed in violation of the GDPR.

We encourage you to contact us first with any questions or concerns regarding the processing of your personal data. You can reach us by email at help@snov.io or snovio_dpo@snov.io, and we will address your inquiry as required by the GDPR.
