Virgin Galactic still looks like a niche name in human spaceflight. Its latest public updates focus on execution milestones, not broad commercial scale, and the company said second quarter 2026 revenue was zero; that period was described as one centered on manufacturing work, preparation for the next spacecraft, Delta, and continued efforts tied to planned commercial service.

The business remains in a build-and-prepare phase. Virgin Galactic said it expects the first spaceflight of the Delta Class spaceship in summer 2027, and it said it is moving toward commercial service after finishing upgrades and manufacturing work; a short sentence in the same update also confirmed that the company is transferring its principal executive offices from New York to Tustin, California, where senior leadership and corporate functions are expected to stay.

Market signals have been mixed to negative. Virgin Galactic reported a net loss in its 2025 full-year results and said it is managing liquidity through capital raising and cost control, while a French market report on the second quarter 2026 results said the stock fell after the company disclosed the spacecraft launch delay; an 8-K also showed executive transitions, which adds to the picture of ongoing operational change.
