API Key allows you to authenticate Snov.io to SendGrid API through SMTP configuration. It represents a password for your SMTP email credentials.
Here’s a guide to help you create an API key in your SendGrid:
1) Create an API key in SendGrid
- Under Email API menu, select integration guide
- Choose SMTP Relay
- On the next screen, enter a name for your API key (can be anything, e.g., API key for Snov.io).
- Click Create Key
You’ll see a notification that your API key was successfully created.
Keep this page open or copy the API key to a safe place – you’ll need it for the next step.
2) Connect SendGrid account to Snov.io
In the second step, you’ll need to enter your SMTP and IMAP settings on the email account configuration page.
- Go to the Email Accounts page.
This page lists all the email accounts that you’ve added before or will add to Snov.io.
Start adding a new email account by clicking the Add email account button.
- Choose SendGrid from the email service providers list.
