How to find someone’s email address by name and company website?

In this article, you’ll learn how to use Email Search in Snov.io to find and verify a specific person's email address when you know their name and company domain.

If you already know who you want to reach, Email Search is your starting point. You give Snov.io a person's name and their company's website, and it finds the right email address for you. The result comes back verified, so you know straight away if it's safe to use before you reach out.

Here's how to run your first search.

Step 1. Open Email Search

In the Finder menu, click Email Search to open a search set-up page.

Step 2. Enter prospect's details

First name: enter person's name.
Last Name: add person's surname.
Company domain name: type the website of the company they work at (for example, apple.com).

If you're not sure of the exact domain, just start typing the company name in the domain field. Snov.io will suggest matching options in a dropdown, and selecting one will fill the domain field automatically. That's useful when you know the company name but can't remember whether it's .com, .io, or something else.Once the fields are ready, click Find email to start the search. The searching process may take some time to find and verify an email address.

Step 3. Check the result

The result appears in the section below the search form. Next to the email address, you'll see a status indicator that tells you whether the address is usable:

Green circle (Valid) — the email passed verification and is safe to contact.

Step 4. Save the contact

If the result looks good, click + Add to list to save a prospect. You can add them to an existing list or create a new one on the spot. This way the contact stays organized and is easy to find when you're ready to reach out.

Step 5. Send an email

You don't have to leave the search page to send your first message. Once you have a valid result, click the Send email icon on the right side of the result row.

By default, Snov.io sends the message from your primary connected email account. If you want to use a different sender address, click the small arrow next to the From field and pick another account from the list.This opens an email editor right in Snov.io. It has everything you'd expect: subject line, message body, text formatting, attachments, links, email templates, helpful writing tools, and emoji support. You can also enable open and click tracking by clicking the tracking icons in the toolbar, they turn green when active.When your message is ready, click Send email.
