How to clear cache and cookies in your browser

You may need to clear browser data when you notice general performance issues in your Snov.io account.

Some examples of the possible issues are:

  • page not loading/takes much longer to load
  • broken interface elements
  • any faults with page interaction

Here’s a guide on how to clear cache and cookies in your browser.

For Google Chrome

On your Chrome homepage, click the three dots in the top-right corner.

Go to More Tools Clear browsing data.

Tip: Type chrome://settings/clearBrowserData in your browser’s address bar for quick access.

On the data clearing settings window, select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

Click Clear data.

For Firefox

On your Firefox homepage, click on the bookshelf icon in the top-right corner.

Go to the SettingsPrivacy & Security menu.

Scroll down and click Clear

For Microsoft Edge

On your Microsoft Edge homepage, click on the Settings & more icon at the top right corner.

Go to the History tab.

Click the three dots More options icon → Clear browsing data.

On the data clearing settings window, select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.

Click Clear now.

Clearing cache for one page

In some cases, you can clear cache for a single webpage if you don’t want to clear all your browser data.

Note: applicable only for Google Chrome browser.

On your Chrome homepage, click the three dots in the top-right corner.

Go to More Tools Developer Tools to open the page inspect window.

Keep the inspect page opened and go to the top left corner.

Right click the refresh icon → Empty Cache and Hard Reload.
