Yes, you can try email verification for free on your Trial account. Snov.io provides 50 test credits, which you can use for email verification and other credit-based tools.

How much does email verification cost?

The number of emails you can verify depends on the credits included in your plan.

Verification has a simple and predictable pricing: 1 email checked = 1 credit. This makes your costs easy to estimate in advance.

Larger plans in Snov.io reduce the cost per verification, so you get better value at higher volumes.

For example, on the Pro S plan one verification costs 2 cents.

How accurate are the email verification results? Can a valid email still bounce?

Yes, but the risk is low. According to our statistics, emails marked as valid by Snov.io have an average bounce rate of around 2%.

How do you confirm the email is valid? Do you send an email?

We run multiple technical checks to check the mailbox is existing and can receive emails.

These checks include domain MX record validation, SMTP server check, catch-all detection, and greylisting bypassing for improved accuracy.

What does an unverifiable email mean?

These emails went through verification, but their status couldn’t be confirmed with full certainty. This usually happens with catch-all domains, or when an address seems valid but doesn’t pass all checks.

Yellow emails can still be used in outreach and may successfully receive emails, unlike invalid ones.

Since they carry more deliverability risk, we recommend keeping the share of unverifiable emails in your list 5% or lower.

How to check list health

How do I check the quality of my list before outreach?

If you import contacts from other sources, we recommend verifying those emails before using them in outreach.

Upload your list for verification and review the verification statuses. A healthy list has a high share of valid emails. For every 100 prospects, no more than 5 should have yellow emails.

In this range, you may still get a few bounces, but it’s safe to launch a campaign. Invalid emails are blocked from campaigns automatically, so you don’t need to account for them.

Can I verify a large email database?
