FAQ – LinkedIn slots

1. What is a LinkedIn slot?

A LinkedIn slot is required to connect a LinkedIn account to Snov.io. You’ll need one slot per connected account.

2. How can I add a slot?

You can add LinkedIn slots from the LinkedIn accounts page or in the Billing settings. Add a slot either while purchasing a plan or separately during your active subscription.

3. Is it secure to connect my LinkedIn account to your slots?

Yes. Your LinkedIn profile data is encrypted and securely stored on our cloud infrastructure. Snov.io follows security best practices to protect your account information.

4. Do slots include proxy servers?

Yes. Each LinkedIn slot in Snov.io includes a built-in, location-based proxy to ensure safe automation. If you prefer, you can also add your own proxy and manage the IP address manually.

5. How does billing work for LinkedIn slots?

Just like premium plans, the LinkedIn Automation add-on is available with both monthly and annual billing options.

  • Monthly LinkedIn add-on

LinkedIn slots are billed monthly, just like a regular subscription. The total price depends on how many LinkedIn slots you include.

Since the LinkedIn add-on requires an active premium plan, its billing period aligns with your plan’s. If you purchase new slots in the middle of your billing period, the cost for the first month will be prorated based on the days remaining in your current plan.

If you change your plan during the billing period, your LinkedIn slots will be extended automatically (at prorated cost).

  • Annual LinkedIn add-on

With annual billing, you pay upfront for one year. The total price depends on the number of LinkedIn slots you add and includes a 10% discount.

6. How does auto-renewal work for LinkedIn slots? Do LinkedIn slots renew automatically?

Yes, active LinkedIn slots are automatically renewed every 30 days when add-on auto-renewal is enabled.

You can manage the renewal settings for each of your active slots from the Billing page, in the LinkedIn accounts section.

  • On a monthly plan with a monthly add-on: both renew automatically every 30 days.
  • On an annual plan with a monthly add-on: your LinkedIn slots are charged separately every 30 days.

7. How can I get a discount on LinkedIn slots?

Get a 10 % discount on LinkedIn slots by switching to annual add-on billing. For maximum savings, combine an annual LinkedIn add-on with an annual plan. Book a call with our sales team to decide on the best option for you.

Annual subscriptions in Snov.io offer the same tools and value at a lower price:

  • 25% off your premium plan with annual billing
  • 10% off your LinkedIn Automation add-on with annual billing

8. Can I reconnect a different LinkedIn account to an existing slot?

Yes. You can remove the currently connected LinkedIn profile and connect a different one to the same slot.

If you also change the location (proxy) for the new account, you can switch LinkedIn profiles in that slot up to 3 times per month.

9.  What happens to my LinkedIn slots if my premium plan expires?

The LinkedIn add-on requires an active premium plan. If your plan expires, your LinkedIn slots will be deactivated as well. The add-on cannot be used on its own.

10. Do I get charged for a slot if I don’t connect a LinkedIn account?

An empty slot (without a connected LinkedIn account) is still considered active and will be included in your billing. To avoid being charged, make sure to cancel the slot if you’re not using it.

11. How can I get bonuses or promo codes?

You may see the option to use a bonus balance or promo code at checkout. Bonuses are earned by completing tasks in your Snov.io account and can be applied to premium plans, but not to LinkedIn slots.

12. I purchased a LinkedIn slot but haven’t used it. How can I get a refund?

LinkedIn slot purchases are non-refundable. To cancel a slot you don't use, go to Billing → LinkedIn accounts and click Cancel renewal.
