In this article, you'll learn how to upgrade or change your plan to a different one and what it means to upgrade or downgrade.
Change your plan through your account's billing settings or directly from the Plans page. You can upgrade from a free trial or any premium plan to a higher-tier plan, downgrade to a lower-tier plan, or renew your current plan by purchasing the same one.
If you change your plan in the middle of the current billing period:
- The new plan will take effect immediately after purchase and initiate a new billing period.
- You will be charged immediately for the new plan. If you upgrade from one annual plan to another, the amount due will be reduced by a prorated amount based on the remaining time in your current annual plan.
- Your account balances will reset with the quotas for credits, recipients, and warm-ups included in your selected plan. If you renew or upgrade, any unused credits from your current plan will roll over.
- You will gain or lose access to premium features depending on the plan you select.
Upgrade your plan
To upgrade to your premium plan, navigate to the Billing settings in your account and click Upgrade.
Select the plan you want and click Select plan. Your chosen plan will be added to the cart. To view the price breakdown and review your order summary, click To checkout below.
Your plan upgrade will take effect immediately after purchase. The new plan will take effect and initiate a new billing period.
Before confirming your plan, double-check your billing option: Monthly or Annual.
With annual billing, you pay once and get a 25% discount compared to recurring monthly payments. It's the same as getting 12 months of service for the price of 9.
When changing your plan, it can be an upgrade or a downgrade, depending on the plan you select.
We'll explain how this affects your account quotas and the total price at checkout. It's essential to consider specific details when changing your plan and switching your billing option (from monthly to annual or vice versa) simultaneously.
What it means to upgrade
An upgrade means changing your plan from a lower-tier plan to a higher-tier plan, for example, from Starter to Pro S.
Upgrading your plan increases your account quotas and unlocks access to more features.
You'll receive more credits for finding prospects and emails, a larger recipient quota for campaigns, and higher limits for email warm-up.
To learn more about the features included with each plan, visit the Plans overview. It will help you choose the right plan for your needs based on the tools and quotas included.

Upgrade: From Annual to Monthly plan
Switching from an annual to a monthly subscription is generally not recommended if you are already in the middle of an annual plan. It's better to wait until your annual plan ends before switching to a monthly plan, even if the monthly plan is a higher tier. This change is justified only if you've fully used the value of your current annual plan.

Downgrade your plan
To downgrade your plan, go to the Plans page in your account. Select the plan you want to change to and complete the purchase. Your plan downgrade will take effect immediately after purchase. The new plan will take effect and initiate a new billing period.
Downgrading your plan can be a smart choice during times when your prospecting and outreach have lower volume than usual. It allows you to switch to a cheaper plan while keeping your subscription active (and saving your accumulated credits). Plus, with automatic plan renewal enabled, your unused credits will continue to roll over each month.
What does it mean to downgrade
A downgrade means changing your plan from a higher tier to a lower tier. For example, from Pro M to Pro S.
When you downgrade your plan, your account quotas (credits, recipients, warm-ups) will decrease, and you might lose access to certain features, depending on the plan you choose.
To ensure you choose the right plan, review the plan overview first. It’ll help you decide which plan best suits your current needs.
Before you proceed, review the impact on your credits and recipients, as well as your charges in various downgrade scenarios.
