What is a token limit

This article explains what tokens are in Snov.io, how to use them with enrichment tools, and how to purchase them.

Enrichment tools are available with any Snov.io plan, but require tokens — special enrichment credits that must be purchased separately.

Your Snov.io account has two separate balances: credits and tokens.

Credits come with your Sales Suite plan and are spent on Finder and Verifier tools to find and verify email addresses.

Tokens are spent on enrichment tools and are not included in any plan. Purchase them separately.

Use tokens for enrichment

You can use tokens for different types of data enrichment. To enrich prospects, first add them to your list using one of our Finder tools or import via file.

Phone number enrichment

Check token balance

Tokens are part of your account balance, along with Credits, Recipients, and Warm-ups.

You can view your total token balance in account details. To check your remaining tokens, go to the Billing section.

Find Tokens listed under account balances.

Purchase tokens

Each account receives 50 free tokens as a one-time allocation to try enrichment features. These tokens do not expire, and once spent they don't renew.

To purchase more tokens, go to Billing and click Get more tokens.

Tokens are available in packages of 1K to 50K tokens. Select one package or buy multiple — the price per token is the same in any package.

Each token purchase is a one-time payment and is not automatically renewed. If you purchased a token package by mistake, you can request a refund as long as none of the tokens have been used.

Track token expiration

Purchased tokens must be used within 90 days. After that period, any unused tokens expire.

When 14 days or fewer remain before a token package expires, we'll notify you in your account and show how many tokens are expiring and when. Make sure to use all your tokens before that date.

Here's what else you should know about token expiration:

  • Tokens accumulate on your balance, but don't expire all at once if purchased on different days. Each token package has its own 90-day expiration timer which starts when you purchase
  • Even after you purchase a new package, the tokens that are closest to expiration are used first

Track token spending

Each successful enrichment spends a certain number of tokens.

Tokens are only used when the enrichment provides the data. The search attempt itself is not charged.

Track your token spending in the Credit usage section of your account. Switch to the Tokens tab to view token transactions.

Tokens in Teamwork

If you work with a team in Snov.io, tokens are shared among all team members in the Team account.

  • Team owners can purchase tokens and manage the team balance
  • Team members can use tokens to enrich data

There are no duplicate charges within a team. If one member has enriched a prospect, other team members will not be charged tokens for the same data.
